Solutions Builds Web-Based Automated Clearing House Application
Utilizing Microsoft .NET Technology
ATLANTA, --
Abel Solutions Inc. recently completed the successful development
and implementation of a Web-based Automated Clearing House (ACH)
solution for Goldleaf Technologies Inc., a leading provider of
Internet banking products and services to community and regional
financial institutions.
Abel used Microsoft .NET technology as the framework
for the solution, which offers Goldleaf's approximately 10,000
originators nationwide the option to originate ACH transactions
via the Internet. Goldleaf wanted to quickly complete the Goldleaf Client project by using the latest, state-of-the-art development
tools. Though Microsoft .NET was brand new when the project was
first proposed, Abel and Goldleaf determined it offered the best
possible framework for quickly developing the application while
meeting the broad demands of Goldleaf's business requirements.
The .NET technology also enables seamless integration with a wide
variety of languages.
"By using the Microsoft .NET platform, we
were able to develop a rich, robust solution for Goldleaf to introduce
to the marketplace," explained Kevin Abel, president of Abel
Solutions. "In addition to enabling a timely implementation,
this technology establishes a foundation for the development of
future generations of ACH applications."
The Goldleaf Client designed by Abel Solutions
provides a custom-branded interface for more than 1,000 community/regional
banks and other financial institutions around the country. The
solution delivers greater control by using the most cost-effective
delivery channel available - the Internet. As a result, Goldleaf
customers are no longer burdened by costly onsite software installations
or not being on the last version of the ACH product.
"We were very impressed with Abel Solutions'
core expertise," said David Peterson, EVP of Goldleaf Technologies
Inc. "They had experience in our industry, they were very
interested in partnering with us on this project and, most importantly,
they adhered to our specific design requirements while suggesting
and ultimately adding additional features that have made our product
stronger."
Beyond enabling Goldleaf customers to safely
create and manage ACH transactions over the Web, the Goldleaf Client
service has added important new features, such as an online data
import tool, expanded company controls and added security.
"We have already received numerous positive
comments from our users," continued Peterson. "Both
new and converting customers like the ease of implementation,
as well as the fact that the system can be used in both a service
bureau and in-house modes."
Abel Solutions, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner,
hopes to capitalize on the success of the solution by strategically
positioning the company for similar mission-critical software
projects with .NET at the core.
"The Goldleaf Client project positions us
as a highly capable and trusted development partner for companies
looking to leverage the tremendous potential of the Microsoft
.NET framework," stated Abel.
Abel Solutions Inc. combines outstanding technical
expertise and a proven development methodology with the collaborative
potential of the Internet to build dynamic, Web-based business
solutions enabling creative, efficient interaction between a company
and its customer, partners and employees.
