Though Laura started out working on Web sites for the Bank on Business program, she moved into Bank Development Account Management within her first year and has been doing that ever since. Now, as Senior Account Manager for the Bank Web Site Development division of Goldleaf, she is responsible for multiple tasks, including training new Account Managers and Web Site Builders, coordinating with the Bank Web Site Sales Team on compatibility issues, keeping upper management informed of the Development team's turnaround, creating and updating Goldleaf internal and external documentation of processes, troubleshooting issues within the Development team, managing her own share of client accounts, and completing other tasks to assist her supervisor in keeping up with the Bank Development division.

Background: Laura Hughes moved to Nashville, TN, at the beginning of 1999 to teach computer software, HTML, and Web design to adults at New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. While in that position, she became a Certified Internet Webmaster - Certified Instructor (CIW CI) and Master Designer (M CIW D). In one of her classes, she met an employee of Banc Internet Group. Laura was impressed by what she heard about the company, and she eventually sought a position at BIG.

Laura also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from UNC-Charlotte, where she graduated with honors, and a Teaching Certificate for North Carolina for grades K-12. She married in March 2004, but decided to remain 'Laura Hughes' on the Goldleaf network and to her clients. To the rest of the world, she is now Laura Reece.
